Costumer Critiques

My wife and I have spent a lot of dollars in our life time shopping for pots and pans. Some even claims "life Time Warranty" and cost triple the price, but nothing last a life time, not even close. When it was time to purchase an additional set, I did a lot of analysis (for days). Consumers Report, Amazon.com, and so on. Earth Pan received particularly excellent critiques more than all and it was safe (no PTFEs or PFOAs)- we have young young children.

The 1st few days, every thing was fine. We read the instructions twice to make sure we followed every little thing to the letter.

Cons:

1. Non-stick: It still sticks, and depends on what you are cooking, cleaning up afterwards could nonetheless be time consuming.

two. Stainless steel handles gets especially hot, so be careful, or get the plastic/rubber handle set.

3. Somehow when you get stains on the outside of the pots or pans, NO WAY of cleaning it off. I have investigation the web and tried every thing, and the stains are nonetheless there.

4. Like numerous other complaints about this set, yes, the pots are too modest for everyday use. I agreed.

Pro:

1. Earth pan is nicely created and desirable.

2. Value is ideal.

If oneday the non-stick coating comes off (and they will, like all the other non sticks cookwares we ever own), I don't have to worry about dangerous chemicals getting into our bodies (espically our kid's).

Update: 11/30/09

These pans are just as bad as the other people. It sticks seriously bad right after 3 months. I am so disappointed! Days of analysis and the "Customers Report Rating" has not provided me with any satisfactions. Do not get this. Actually.

Purchased two skillets in December and was impressed with their non-stick glidy finish. We stir-fry veggies, meat dishes, fish, fry eggs and bacon....but four months later we have the finish coming off in little areas all more than the bottom and sides! and residue developing up that appears baked into the finish. Beware that if you use considerably high heat with them that this could trigger the predicament, but regardless, they did not final any time at all. We have had to replace them with new items. The warranty was very good for 30 days - and like most warranties they outlived their return policy. I would not get any a great deal more - since if you can't heat them to stir fry or fry eggs with no these concerns, they aren't worth getting!
