We had no situation with the edges. Yes, they had a cut edge versus a rolled one, but not sharp sufficient to cut yourself on anyway. I decided just before buying this pan that if I felt them to be sharp, a speedy pass with a diamond stone would quickly soften the edge. When you take the pan from the oven, you will be making use of an oven mitt anyway, so I don't see it as an concern. The edge was not sharp adequate to worry about in our opinion.
The problem that bothers me was the 1st time this pan was in the oven, it warped terribly. We heard a loud pop, and the pan was warped roughly two INCHES out of flatness. Immediately after removal from the oven, it cooled down and returned to its original flat shape, so we will see if this behavior continues the subsequent time it is in the oven.
We adore it as a stainless pan, but if we see issues go flying around the interior of the oven every time the pan heats up, that would diminish its worth a bit.
