The initially time I put to use the large covered sautee pan I was shocked to acquire a number of scratches on my cooktop
My husband and I could not think about how the scratches came to be there as we have often taken care of the ceramic best. this is not a new cooktop and had in no way been scratched before
Upon turning the sauce pan over we identified a sharply etched logo on the bottom of the pan. We have implemented many of the other saucepans and one of the frying pans without having incident, but there is no doubt that the 3 qt sautee pan did leave a deep scratch on our ceramic stovetop.
I now hesitate to use any of the larger pots from this set.
I am quite pleased with the amount of time it took for me to get my new pots and I really like them!
