This is a wonderful set of cookware and, I consider, a superb worth...I paid $189.99 for 17 pieces, 15 of which are pots, pans lids and 2 inserts..for pasta and for steaming. I like that there are two of the exact same size lid. You at all times get 1 lid that fits 2 items in the set and I would constantly use them at the similar time and only be in a position to cover 1. No worries with this set--there is 1 lid for every. Also, I did a lot of price tag shopping just before I picked this one particular and it is the only brand that calls it 17-piece and gives you all cookware. Every single other set I saw that was over, say, 10 pieces-- the extra was knives or plastic utensils vs pots and pans. If it was 17 pieces, 7 to 9 of them had been bowls, utensils, knives, etc. Rip offs for the prices they charged. And finally..the outside is good and smooth, not ringed or otherwise textured...makes for nice cleanup and hopefully they'll stay nice looking longer than their predecessors. The ONLY factor I'm not thrilled with is that the lid handles do get warm...even hot. The pot and pan handles don't, but the lids surely do. But for the value and good quality? I have potholders.... Otherwise I would give it five stars. What the heck..5 it is!

I did a lot of research ahead of obtaining a new set of cookware. I read tons of reviews and this one particular seemed to be the finest. Not only had been there really good critiques but there seemed to be outstanding attributes and shapes/sizes of pots pans too. I even bought some additional separate pieces at a much higher price tag. Too bad for me.

My biggest problem is that the handles are rather challenging to hold. They are too slender and have a concave shape so that one particular can not grip them quickly and comfortably. This is especially problematic with the skillets or larger saucepans (purchased separately). Secondly, they get Rather hot, extremely quick and points burn in seconds. They seem rather lightweight. I would favor a heavier bottom. I believe this add to the heating/burning problem. They seems to scratch very easily even though I have been extremely cautious with them. The non-stick feature is beneficial and they are uncomplicated to clean. Lastly, the covered Saute Pan is too modest. For me it is a waste. The saucepans are pretty shallow to the point of becoming pretty much unuseable for me.

Think twice before acquiring this cookware.
